False Consciousness

Is free will an illusion asks this article in Wired Science. In an experiment conducted by the University of
Pennsylvania’s Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, subjects' brains had apparently already made decisions before they bubbled up to the subject's conscious mind.

The article questions the existence of "Free Will". This is a subject of interest to us here at Autogenerated.

The 10-100 trillion cells that make up a human organism, plus the 100-1000 Trillion bacterial cells that share the meat sack must deal with a strange and mysterious consciousness that claims to speak and act for the collective. The extent of that AI's actual control is in question.
